What is the difference between analogue & IP Cameras?

An IP Camera, also known as an Internet Protocol camera, is a digital video camera that receives control data and sends this data via an IP network. These types of cameras can be used as stand alone or linked to NVR . An analogue camera on the other hand record images to a digital recorder that is then converted from a video to a digital format, it has to be linked to a DVR for recording .
